Our mission is rooted in sustainability

Recycling alone is not sufficient in today’s world

We are committed to doing more by championing the practice of recirculation over recycling whenever possible.

Why Recirculation Matters

Recirculating products is a powerful way to combat pollution and reduce waste. In the face of persistent supply chain challenges and a scarcity of raw materials, this approach isn’t just financially advantageous; it’s imperative for our planet’s future. We’re on a dedicated mission to bridge the gap between existing supply and fresh demand, creating a more sustainable world one step at a time.
Our mantra is simple
Recirculate first
Arrow back
Recycle last

Our Story

We started in 2012 in Brooklyn, New York as ARA Global Group, a small wholesale operation buying and selling pre-owned mobile devices. Co-founders Reuben Rodriguez and Arthur Bronfman built the business one phone at a time, growing it from two people at a desk into a multi-channel reverse-logistics company with a national warehouse footprint.

In late 2022 we rebranded as RecirQ to reflect what the business had become: a specialist in the circular economy of electronics. The ARA days were about trading volume. The RecirQ era is about infrastructure, data, and long-term partnerships with the organizations whose devices we steward.

Today we operate from a headquarters in Miami, Florida and a processing warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas. Our teams span buying, selling, operations, finance, and technology, all organized around one outcome: keep working devices moving.

What We Do

Wholesale refurbished devices. We source, grade, and distribute pre-owned iPhones, Samsung Galaxy devices, Google Pixel phones, Android handsets, tablets, and smartwatches. Our catalog covers Grade A, B, and C inventory across most carrier lockings, global specifications, and color variants. Retailers, exporters, repair shops, and resellers buy from us because our grading is consistent, our supply is steady, and our process is accountable end to end.

Returns-as-a-service. Large carriers and retailers hand us their pre-owned and returned-device pipelines and we run the entire reverse flow: receiving, triage, functional testing, data sanitization, grading, repair triage, and redistribution. Clients get a cleaner balance sheet and a predictable recovery rate without having to build reverse-logistics infrastructure in-house.

Reventory platform. Our in-house warehouse management system is purpose-built for device reverse logistics. It handles license-plate tracking, grade and spec enforcement, market-linked pricing, and integrations with carrier and retailer systems.

How We Work

Everything at RecirQ runs on three operational pillars.

Speed. Devices lose value every day they sit in a bin. Our Fort Worth warehouse is tuned for short dwell times, with daily cross-dock flows for inventory that is already graded and moves straight through.

Accountability. Every unit that touches our facility is tracked by a license plate number from receipt to shipment. Clients see real-time status on their inventory and know exactly where recovery value came from.

Data. Our Reventory platform pulls pricing and demand signals from primary and secondary markets so every buying and selling decision is grounded in current data rather than last quarters hunches.

Who We Serve

We work with carriers, insurers, authorized retailers, major retailers returns programs, enterprise IT asset disposition partners, and wholesale buyers across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Every client relationship is structured around the same outcome: more devices recirculated, fewer devices shredded, and predictable value on both sides of the transaction.

Meet the leadership team

Arthur Bronfman

Co-Founder and CRO

Arthur leads buying, selling, and business development at RecirQ. He co-founded the company with Reuben in 2012 while still in college in Brooklyn, having already spent his teenage years trading electronics and sneakers online. Today he owns the revenue side of the house, from vendor sourcing through wholesale sell-through, and leads the relationships with RecirQ's largest enterprise clients.
Reuben Rodriguez
Co-Founder and COO

Reuben oversees operations, strategy, and capital allocation across the business. He grew up around a family wholesale operation in Brooklyn and Queens and co-founded RecirQ with Arthur in 2012. Reuben spends most of his time on systems, financial discipline, and long-term partnerships.
Suman Sengupta
VP of Information Technology

Suman leads Reventory, RecirQ's technology organization. His team builds and maintains the warehouse management system, carrier and retailer integrations, and the data infrastructure that powers RecirQ's pricing and inventory decisions. Current focus areas include third-party logistics modules and deeper automation across the grading and listing pipeline.
Saul Andrade
Director of Operations

Saul runs RecirQ's operations, shipping, and warehouse. Based in Fort Worth, he is responsible for the physical throughput of the business, the teams that process devices day to day, and the process controls that keep quality and speed in balance as volume scales.
Austin Dembeck
Controller

Austin leads finance and accounting at RecirQ, owning the company's books, reporting, cash management, and internal controls. He partners closely with the operations and sales leaders to keep unit economics, working capital, and supplier payments in clear view.
Mike Altshuler
Director of Sales

Mike leads RecirQ's wholesale sales channel, working with the buyers, resellers, and international distributors who move our graded inventory to end markets. He pairs deep product knowledge of the pre-owned device market with the pace and discipline needed to keep inventory moving.

Our Values

Recirculate first, recycle last. Every device deserves a second life before it enters a shredder.

Own the whole pipeline. We do not hand devices off to unknown third parties. What enters our facility is tracked, graded, and accounted for to the unit.

Move with real data. Market signals drive our pricing, our inventory mix, and our client recommendations. Gut-feel pricing is the enemy of a healthy reverse-logistics business.

Build for decades, not quarters. The circular economy is still early. We are investing in the infrastructure, the technology, and the team to be a primary operator in it for the long run.
